Greetings,
I am Audrey B. Rodriguez, founder of (formerly) Aukela Christian Military Academy, established in 1990. My inspiration to create this academy came from a deeply personal place. My late son, William Rodriguez Jr., had a learning disability and behavioral challenges. Despite our tireless search, we needed help finding a school that provided the structure and spiritual guidance he needed. It was during this challenging period that God laid it upon my heart to create a place that could serve not only my son but also many others who needed a nurturing and structured environment guided by faith.
Aukela Christian Military Academy was born out of a desire to provide a Christ-centered education that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and character needed to excel in all areas of life. Our mission is to create a nurturing and challenging environment where individualized academic excellence, spiritual growth, and servant leadership are fostered through a creatively-inspired framework.
We believe education goes beyond academics. Our purpose is to prepare students for success in their studies and personal lives as they grow to become empowered leaders making positive impacts in their communities. We are steadfast in our commitment to instilling biblical values such as honesty, integrity, courage, and compassion in our students—shaping them into responsible citizens who honor God and serve others.
Looking ahead, we envision an atmosphere where students are empowered to learn and lead with courage, integrity, and faith. At Aukela, our dynamic, individualized, and adaptive educational programs help students grow through character-building initiatives. Our goal is for every student to discover their unique potential as they grow in knowledge, character, and service—guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ.
We aim to create a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters academic progress, personal growth, and spiritual development. Armed with a strong foundation in faith and values, our vision is for Aukelan graduates to enter the world with confidence and purpose—equipped to fulfill their responsibilities as servant leaders and carry on the Aukela legacy of inspiring greatness.

It is with great honor and privilege that we continue our mother’s legacy, Audrey B. Rodriguez, as the Director & Administrator of our beloved school. Our core principles and foundations remain unchanged despite the name change from Aukela Christian Military Academy to Aukela Unique & Distinguished Scholars. Our vision has always been to provide a Christ-centered education that empowers students to excel academically, spiritually, and socially.
As we enter a new era in education, we have recognized our students’ ever-changing needs and evolved to meet them. We are equipped with the necessary resources and training to address unique situations and challenges that our students may face. Our goal remains to highlight their strengths, help them thrive, and become valuable global community members.
